Because they are already fully cooked, your primary goal is to heat them through until the meat is piping hot and the rich sauce liquefies.
- Oven (Recommended): Preheat your oven to 180°C. Place the lamb shanks and all the accompanying sauce into an ovenproof dish. Cover tightly with aluminium foil to retain moisture. Heat for 20 to 25 minutes until the meat is thoroughly heated to the bone.
- Microwave (Fastest): Transfer the shanks and sauce into a microwave-safe container. Cover with a lid or vented microwave-safe plastic wrap. Heat on high for 5 to 7 minutes, turning the shanks halfway through to ensure even heating.

Stovetop / Simmer: Place the shanks and sauce into a saucepan or deep skillet over medium-low heat. Cover with a lid and simmer gently for 15 to 20 minutes, occasionally spooning the sauce over the meat.
